Katie’s passion for food and wine came to her while in college. While pursuing a degree in Anthropology, she began working a Madeleines Restaurant & Wine Bistro. Within her first two years there, she was promoted to the position of wine director/buyer, a position she held for two years before leaving for a similar opportunity at Noir Food & Wine in Pasadena. She was hired as one of Noir’s wine directors and the bar manager. During the same period, she sidelined as the event coordinator for Claud & Co Catering - helping manage their wine events such as Pinot Fest and Rosé Soirée.
In 2012, after several years at Noir and Claud & Co. Catering, she took a break from the restaurant business to travel. But she was enticed to return to the business several months later to help open Claud & Co Eatery, an ambitious restaurant that re-concepts their menu and wine list each month. As director of operations and wine director for Claud & Co, Katie was instrumental in helping open two additional restaurants: Bacchus Kitchen, a neighborhood restaurant and wine bar, and tap & kitchen, a brasserie-style beer bar.
Katie began a personal wine consulting business in 2011, a business she currently owns and still operates. Her business helps clients maintain and organize their wine cellars. She brings her experience and enthusiasm for wine to All’Acqua’s management team.
